I've finally narrowed it down to what and how I'm going to lift my TB.
Way #1 BDS Front kit with Mark MC Rear Spacers - $470-$500
Way #2 Rough Country Front spacers and MarcMc Rear Spacers - $406.90
I know fish sticks has the RC front spacers and he wheels hard so I'm positive that they will hold up to the way I wheel.
I'm leaning towrds the Rough Country cause its more wallet friendly.
Your thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

There have been a couple reports of the RC lift failing. Not Fishy's though. Dmccartney I think...

One I believe but he fixed the weld and they replaced it.

Mark's old lift is cheaper (~$160).
Or if you can get it used from Jansey ($80) you'll save more.
Get the SkyJacker H7030 for the rear $80 plus about $10 in washers.
Get the Bilsteins up front for about $120.

If you can get the used lift you'll be in for under $300.

Yeah, one of Damian's broke the welds where the shock attaches. Not a failure that will keep you from driving home at least. He welded them up and they worked fine again, but RC sent him a new set. I think he sold the extras afterwards.

I think I have an extra set of Mark's rear spacers floating around...

I thought he only had trouble with one, twice.

RC has worked fine for me for two years now. Albeit not wheeled as hard as Fish.

I'm really looking for something that replaces the facotry strut mount. Mark has his 3" that replaces it but I don't want 3" and I could get RC for cheaper... I know that MarkMc 2.5" has failed 3 times (from what I read on TV) Would there be any concerns with a used lift that I should be aware of?

BDS uses white body shocks, most likely made by Gabriel.

So does Pro Comp.

So does SkyJacker.

So does Rancho.

So does Superlift.

My BDS shocks seep a little bit around the seals. The eye bushings in them are also about 1/4" bigger than they should be now. Why?

If you guys want to debate high-end shocks, that's fine. But the bashing of quality on a "bare minimum to make it work" product is lame.

Yes... What Fish said...

And on the seeping thing. Most shocks are made with a seeping seal, to help keep the shaft lubricated. A dry shaft, as we all know is bad! It will wear the guide seals, and the oil seals out quicker. If they sit on the shelf at the supplier too long this is real evident.

The only failure with Marks lift that I was aware of was on 360 that had been hit in the front previously while the vehicle was using 89 springs and it was a shock rod failure.
I might have missed the threads your referencing though.

I know that MarkMc 2.5" has failed 3 times (from what I read on TV)

Was it marks lift or the factory mount that failed. Would greatly appreciate if you could pm the links to the cases.

The failures were from the original strut mount being dried out. Make sure you know what you are saying before you make a comment on it, and provide links to it.

If he's looking to use 89 springs later he is on the right track IMO. I highly doubt the stock spring mounts will put up with 89s for long and 3" is too much to combine with them.

True, but that isn't really the lift failing, with that said means anyone with Suspension Maxx lift up front will have the same failure. That is the stock components failing.

He said 3 inch is more lift than he wants so I would guess 89s are never gonna even be a thought...esp sincethey would net him over 3 when combined w about any lift.

Once again Caleb, that is the failure of the stock components not a problem of the lift itself. You will have the same potential issue with the SMaxx lift as well.
