Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Finally Plastidip'd my factory 17's

Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

Pretty disappointed that i waited so long to do this. In about 2 hours i feel that i completely changed the look of my TB and even more importantly the GF thinks it looks hot haha. Not gonna go into the full detail since a lot of people have done so already but figured i would finally post something that I have done to my truck.

I cant remember who's thread I used but i went with 3 coats of Plastidip with around 15 minutes drying time in between coats

ahh yes the running boards. i figured someone might bring that up. well the same girl that liked the look of my wheels also just gave birth to our first son a week and a half ago. so i am kinda giving her a little time before i pull them off. they are coming off soon i swear it will probably happen the same time i do my lift. my dad has a wall mounted spring compressor and the shop he works at but of course the passed couple of weekends we have been able to get there to do the work they have been repaving the parking lot

Yah, I was STOOPID enough to pay money to ADD aftermarket ones, now serving as habitat for geckos and weeds.

Looks great man. I've looked every where for pasti dip. We don't have it in Canada yet. And the people that are selling it on CL want $25 a can... Not going to happen.

My wife told me that she doesn't care what I do to the Envoy as long as we keep the running boards.... Not too bad a deal I guess, but I might look into modifying some rock sliders that Exp-One makes for their JKs and see if she notices :D

bartonMD made some sliders that look like running boards.
I expect she won't mind the sliders as long as she has a step to get in with.

That wouldn't be a bad idea if money wasn't tied up from the new baby and all

That was the idea. It won't be for quite a while but when the time comes up I'll have to check out bartonMD's sliders. My friend is an engineer over at Exp-One and he was the one that gave me the idea...

I definitely hear that. My wife is a stay-at-home-mom with our two kids and we're both in college, and I'm the one "bringin home the bacon." My mods will be happening pretty slow cuz of that.
