An C rated Duratrac is only a 6/2ply tire. GoodYear did't make 6/3ply tires. Heck, only two models of the E rated tire are 10/3. Most are just 10/2. But non the less these durtracs are one hell of a tire!! As a heads up, there is a $60 dollar rebate through GoodYears website on these things. Also if you become a member of Tread Lightly, you get access to a $100 rebate. The only catch on that one is that it takes $25 to be a member, so in reality it's only a $75 dollar rebate. So nab those rebates($135) if you haven't yet!
I bought my set at Discount Tire. Ironically the thicker 10/3ply E tire was cheaper by about $15 per tire then the 6/2 C rated tire. My dad and I figured this was due to fact that the 6/2 was in higher demand. I managed to scoop mine up for $940 even with the 2 rebates, no tax (discount tire had a 48hour promo where they covered the tax), and a little haggling with the sales guy to take off another $20.
The tires them selves are phenomenal. They ride very quite (barely audible over wind noise at 55mph), keep the truck sturdy, and have great traction! I have found that in the mud, you have to spin them at least 25 mph to get them to clean out real good. Otherwise they fill up with mud and don't get good traction.
