1.3" or 1.5" spacers

I see alot of people have the 1.3? spacers and I know you have to grind the rear lugs so please don't post that. I'm just looking at the benefits of one over the other, I am planning of getting some in the very near future. I was just going to default to the 1.5" for a wider stance, and more distance between the tires and the upper ball joint in the front. Why would I want 1.3" instead of 1.5", other than lug stress, which I am taking as negligible between the 2 different spacers (unless I'm wrong)?

Lug stress is no different between the two. One vendor, and I think only for a short time, offered 1.3" spacers. After multiple instances of user error and stud breakage, I think he quit offering them. All other vendors offer only 1.5" spacers, AFAIK.

Lug stress is no different, but I would imagine that that .2 inches shorter lever arm on the wheel would reduce stress on the bearings and power steering. Also, that one vendor still offers them I believe, and I got mine because they were cheap but good.

I believe the more tucked-in stance would also necessitate less trimming with larger tires in the future.

So what are we thinking, You gain .2% of lifespan on your bearings? :poke:

Well I decided to go with the 1.5" adapters, I'm not too worried about the extra bearing stress, they were however $169 instead of $149 shipped (1.3"), I just contacted Tech Mack through wheeladapters@aol.com. It's the same company that many people were using through ebay
