The rad skid won't have compressed them any more than somebody sitting in the passenger seat, and that doesn't cause the springs to take a set... The extra weight of the bumper, both skids, and a winch hanging out there can help compress them, statically, and can make the lifted, coil-binding (and taking a set) worse, but it's compressing them more than the design that causes them to take a set...

Well, my older brother (also a marine) is now stationed here in Camp Pendleton. So i took him out on the Santa Rosa/High Point drive. And now he's sold on the GMT360 body :drool3: . So this week we were out looking at a few. All ended up being TBs. One 2005 LS (overpriced and former rental :puker: ) The second was an EXT w/ the V8 and G80. Great condition, but we found another which is via private party. More affordable and in better condition. 4x4 of course. Most likely going with that one. Guy asked 7500 my bro offered 7000, so we're going to see if he takes offer. Here's a pic. (my first comparison pic)

Honestly without getting too far into it, I basically just cant afford everything that comes with owning 2 vehicles and need to get caught up on bills. I really want to get something cheap but legitimately nice Unlike my Integra) while going down to 1 vehicle. When I can start pulling in more money I would love to get something 4wd so I can be more dependent on myself on single vehicle trips. Granted the TB has never let me down I cant afford a vehicle I rarely drive.

And hey if he were to buy it Bills hands have been on it so its worth more than I would sell it for!

Trust me it makes me very sad to do as it is the first vehicle I have ever financed and also the vehicle I had the most fun in. Makes more sense to me to get something that meets in the middle of all my needs AND wants in one package. but I am definitely not out of the offroad scene, I will definitely bum rides and split gas with you guys!!!

You willing to do another trip before you sell it? I say we try and get the local ORTB fellas for a "temporary farewell" trip.

That would be possible. I would have to register and insure it first though.
