Got rid of that awful resonator. Picked up a straight and turn down tubes for autozone. Have yet to put them in.

I just did the autozone 18" straight pipe with the turn down for now aswell. Luckily the shop that I was at had a welder and the mechanic who kinda supervises the shop offered to weld it on for me since Washington has a law on your exhaust having to stick out past the body. I like the set up, it has a nice low tone when I'm standing next to it but can only hear it in the cab if I stomp on it and even then the engine noise is more noticeable.

When I was at autozone pick up the 18" straight pipe, thought it was kinda funny it was labeled resonator.

Meh ill eventually bend mine on a rock. Then ill just turn it to the side and have it coming out the right side behind the wheel well instead of straight back. So for less then $15 I'm pretty happy

Are they worse than the Super Swampers?

I have not picked up swampers but I have had several set of them and the guard dogs are not as loud but far more annoying to me.

So it's a different type of drone then. I've never used Swampers, but I remember one time I was driving and heard a lot of noise in the car, looked to my side and there was a Jeep with Swampers next to us. Once we got away from it the noise stopped.

Swampers are loud. So are mud grapplers. Mud tires make noise. I am used to that but the treadwrighrs give me a headache.

Well, onto day 3 of the body lift. Day 2 was sidetracked in part by overextending my driver door, now it doesn't shut i hate to say use this phrase, but seriously: fml.

Should probably mention that I don't get a start on it until 12pm or 1pm. Anyway, the blocks were on yesterday but steering extension was kinda a PITA. Today was eaten by steering extension cover, cv boot clamps, bumpers not fitting properly, and most severely, door problems. So when you see some jackass pulling a Dukes of Hazzard on his TB at TECORE, you'll know who it is.

Day 3? My friend, you need a lifting party! lol

really wish you were closer, I've helped multiple members do the suspension/ body lift and a little fab here and there. Sounds like you're having a hell of a time.

But I'm finally done. The rear bumper was easily the worst part; forget the steering extension.

Sounds like you're having a hell of a time.

Part of what I signed up for. What's the point in building/being proud of your rig if you get someone else to build it for you

Totally misunderstood your post. For some reason I was thinking "bumper" meant you had gotten a custom bumper from Barton. We never even considered touching ours. It has stayed off and will until we get a custom front bumper. As for the rear, I forgot how much of a pain that was. Were it not for my step-dad's acetylene torch, we would've never gotten the bolts loose, I'm sure.
