I just purchased my 2006 TB EXT 4x4 and I am looking into lifting it. I was hoping to put 32" or 33" tires on it but I am not sure which suspension lift kit to get. I see Liftmeister has a 3" lift available now? Has anyone installed this kit yet? Does anybody have any suggestions, good or bad, of things for me to consider before I raise my TB? Does anybody have any pics of their TB with 32" or 33" tires?
Looking forward to getting lots of info from people who know.

Can tell you firsthand that the Ebay kits are exactly what the guys on this forum will tell you... a timebomb for your CV joints on account of all the lift being outside the strut so that downward stroke is only limited by steering knuckle bumping into your springs.
Having said that, 3" in the front and 2" in the back plus 1.5 inch wheel spacers will accommodate 32 inch tires. I just bought some 265/70/17 Guard Dogs from TreadWright, and I'm loving them so far.
Another note... if you don't already have a locker in the rear, the PowerTrax No Slip is a great and inexpensive option to put torque to both rears, but it's not near as quiet as the ads would lead you to believe, at least not in my case.
Finally, I'm envious: I got a 2005 before I knew about the horsepower and mpg boost the '06s got. You picked the good model year.

I think 33s are probably the best compromise. Do the suspension lift, maybe a body lift, 33s and then use the cheap lockers front and rear. If the rear breaks get the 8.6. It's pretty much a bullet proof combo.
Obviously theres a bit more to it. But this is the bulk.
If you want to go bigger get ready for resolving "issues" on a semi regar basis.
