New guy from NJ, looking for info on a lift/tires

Like the title says... I have an '04 with 160k on the clock, and am looking to give it a little height. Goals for the truck are to make it a little easier to reach my hunting spots in the Pines, and get to work regardless of weather/flooding/hurricane/etc(I work in public safety).

From my lurking it appears that the MarkMC lift is the preferred route with some spacers or adapters and maybe some 32" or so tires. What I have not been able to discern is [newb-alert] are people talking about the suspension or the body lift? Thanks in advance, and look forward to sharing my modest build with the group!

Welcome

He offers both a 3" suspension lift and 3" body lift. The ones you're reading about are more than likely suspension

howdy, most the time it's the suspension lift that gets talked about, there's a body lift too.

Thanks for the help! Looking at 265/75/16s on the stock wheels with the MarkMC 3" suspension kit and bilsteins. Heading to suspension for some spring research...

Welcome to the site. Seems like you've already done some pretty good searching unlike a few of the "new to the site" posts I've seen lately. Make sure you keep in mind added weight of skid plates and bumpers you might think of in the future

Do not forget to buy wheel spacers if you are going to keep the stock rims or an adapter if you go for diferents rims
