Agreed. May do something like that to my Impala wheels since they are similar in style.

Thanks buddy. I haven't done much to it lately. Hoping that will all change now that I have a proper shop to work in. No doubt I'll keep it up to date.

No problem. You truck is my desktop background. Hopefully with a little luck there will be a red version of that thing running around NE WI sometime soon.

I really think what does it for me on your truck is the front bumper setup. I need that. Bad. That exact one.

AMWeaver47's , I know this thread can be confusing but look at the subject line to keep it in focus.

No subject line in Tapatalk. Quoting helps.

gotcha, quoting from a different thread isn't so easy but I will try to do so next time to help the users who are on their phones.

Yeah, this comment thread is not a perfect system... but I have no better options at this point. When I want to do that, I press quote, then copy the text... not too difficult.

yeah, that is what i will do next time. I'll copy the quote instead of the subject.

Thanks guys. The idea came to me after seeing the same wheel painted in reverse (center being black, outside staying stock finish). Plus I figured I can do a quickie in Plastidip with the rims on the truck to make sure I liked it before going permanent. I know the wheel selection is limited for these and even more importantly there's limited rim funds being an average high school student. I'll run it as is until the "dip gets ripped", then I'll probably do them with actual paint. They have actually gotten way more compliments and attention than I ever expected. I think I know the Impala wheel you're talking about. It would look sweet in that same 2 tone pattern, go for it!

Anyway thanks again guys

Maybe like these? I think these would be on a Dale Jr Monte Carlo if I'm remembering correctly.

um, yeah. this man speaks the truth. play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Most the guys here are as enthusiastic about their guns as they are their Trailblazers and Envoys. They're well equipped and have plenty of practice/training. But they're also generous friendly and accommodating. It's as it should be.

That torque wrench is my new best friend. It goes everywhere with me, until I'm confident a wheel won't come off again that is......

Get rid of that cross brace. Even with the caps on the top terminals I didn't feel safe running with the brace as close to the positive terminal as it is!
