Just make sure he's aware of the bear population. :zombie:

yeah James, that bear sure wrecked your windshield!

I'm officially out, my wife had surgery on her shoulder yesterday to clean up some bone spurs and they found a rotator cuff tear. She'll be in a sling with little movement above the elbow for 6weeks or so.

Yup, with the recent destruction to my rear end (the G80 that is) I am doomed to ride passenger. I will also add my name to that 3am group, I am sure Kyle can vouch for the fact that I can keep up! :friday:

Fingers crossed it doesn't snow on me again this time!

OK, so I officially have the vacation time from work, and the Trasharoo is on the way, as well as the license plate holder attachment.

Sweet! What color did you get?

And because I feel like I don't fit in without a rear tire carrier and a Trasharoo, I'm going to be like Zombiekiller and zip tie a Spare tire to my tailgate and hang a backpack off of it so i can feel better about myself...

Don't worry, Dave. Mine will be different. I think I'm going to build something similar to a hitch-gate for myself, before this trip.

The only thing I really want, now, is a rear bumper and tubes on the front bumper, though. I don't have the 3 full weekends to do a rear bumper for me right now, but I do have the 6-7 hours to do a swinging hitch carrier, though.

As long as I can get my tire, 2 jerry cans, and my hi-lift back there, I think I'll be good...

I know. I already put the 6x5.5 mounting face on it for me, too. I just don't like the folding-down, and it doesn't get the fuel outside, and it doesn't get completely out of the way, etc. Plus, I already have the trailer spindle/bearing, latch, and gas shock; and when I make my rear bumper, this thing'll probably be worth $550 to somebody, seeing as how the Hitchgate sells for $690, plus the double jerry can holder attachment for $330, plus the hi-lift mount for it is $18.

No. It just really is not in the cards. Wife started selling 31...bags/purses...and is busting her ass doing direct sales. I need to support her and help her get it going with a couple of her daycare kids leaving. I know it is important to her, so I need to make it important to me, plus I get more time with the little one with the wife does her thing. Figure I can try for one after, but sometimes ya just got to stay home.

I appreciate the offer and concern though. Prolly can send a jar of beans alnog if Mike wants to stop by or I can get them to him before or en route.

Bring her along! I hear Matt is looking for a new purse.

But seriously, family is more important. Especially the "little one." Good man.

And I'll be looking forward to passing the beans around by the campfire. :friday:
