You both can certainly come. We've had one or two women in the past. Most wives just choose not to come due to the manly nature of the event, the general cold, no flush toilets, and not showering for 3 days.

You need a lift, something other than stock tires, camping supplies, and a strong will to survive. If you plan to have those by the date, just repost the list of names and add your own in the applicable category.

I believe we talk about it in the TECORE 7 thread and elsewhere in the forum. Skids, lift, tires, camping gear

Thanks for the thumbs up. I can understand, but I also find it comical. Many of my female friends were horrified by the thought of me having to use the "lugabaloo" (5 gallon bucket with a toilet seat) on the trail. Honestly, I thought it was a luxury! Makes packing out easier anyways. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) we didn't get to use it because even the remote campsites had "facilities".

Well, the price isn't included. We can work that out when you get there.

The days are posted in the first post. The itinerary is: Friday meet at 12:00 noon at walmart near the gas area in Harrisonburg, VA. At 12:01, follow James. Sunday at an undisclosed time, you will be dismissed.

Thinking about moving the 12:00 noon timetable up a bit to give us a little more trail time. Any opposition to that?

I'm game to start a little earlier, 9-10am. I'm not driving as far as some so I'll do whatever.

Mike and I were planning on taking Thursday off and hauling up there, so earlier on Friday is better. Hopefully DirtyBacon04 can get Thursday off as well. If not, Mike and I are not strangers to extensive driving (did I mention we made it from Florida to Colorado in 32 hours for our trip...Good times!)

I'm only coming from 4 hours away. Earlier is fine.

If you and Mike don't want to have to drive the 16hrs~ then stay up all day, you can drive up to my house thursday, Get some rest, I have a very comfortable air bed, and we convoy early friday morning. If Bacon comes he can have the couch. You could even pack lighter for the big drive and get the food and whatever here or in Harrisonburg. I'm only 10~12hrs from you. Wife alredy said she's ok with it.

Rory makes some damn good food too, I'd take him up on the offer

I'll discuss it with Mike. Thanks for the offer. I would say it doesn't take that long (we usually make the run between here and VA Beach in 13 hours), but then I remembered we'll be running 35s by then. So yeah....at least there is no worry of speeding tickets! :)

Welp, wrench in our plans. My job won't let me off because we may or may not be relocating the office. Ugh.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.
