Makes sense... and I suppose it doesn't matter strengthwise as much since you're running hydro assist.

charliesrobinson -

The way you've mounted your antennas are going to damage the antennas as well as the radio.

Could you go into more detail about the bumper; perhaps a different thread? It is hard to tell with the cell shots...

@ dirtyanton love the build and notice the background on some of your pics that you have quite the storage setup with various cargo nets, the thule bags on the seats and some kind of mounting up front for what looks like an ipad. Got any more pics of those?

ill save everyone else the time... He makes them custom... I believe he isnt taking orders for about a year... USE the search bar before asking a questions, it will usually answer your question for you. I made the same rookie myself a few times, so don't feel bad.

As Conner says, I make them. A few people have bought something and had it modified, or modified it themselves, or had something custom made locally (mostly before I started making bumpers); but I've made most of the bumpers on this site, at this point. As normally happens when you make a good product at a "hobby" price, and have "hobby" amounts of time to work on it and a real job that takes most of your time, orders back up. As stated in one of the threads in my vendor forum on this site, I've temporarily stopped taking bumper orders, until I can get caught up, but am still selling and shipping skidplates for oil pan and radiator, and probably transmission.

Thanks, I haven't actually measured, but using the eyeball method, I'd guess about 2-3 inches. Colorado doesn't have any fender laws, there is a few jeeps running around with 8-10 inches outside the body, lol.

How much do you usually charge for the bumper, skid plates etc. and how do I go about ordering them when your back in production?

I used the search bar and typed in bartonmd bumper and I just got abunch of build threads and other people using them (sorry still a noob to this forum it's a lot different than other forums I've been on)

Re: MikeKey's Build - 2003 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ

This is a great build and love the way it looks. I have been looking at several lifts as we have not done one before and want to get it right. There wont be alot of heavy off roading as we have a 2wd, but want to be able to get out a bit and like the BDS 2" lift. Have you been satisfied with it? Also... how have the painted rims held up? Was thinking of doing the same.

The rims have held up, proper prep is a must however. And we're still completely satisfied the the BDS lift kit. Car is driven almost daily by my wife.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.
