Hey guys, well as you know I’m the new guy. But I just wanted to take I minute to talk about myself and my build

myself: originally from northern new York in a little town called Chippewa bay (if you have ever heard of it I feel sorry for you. lol) joined the Navy and have been serving for around 6 years now, as a helicopter mechanic and I love it, I also have a lot of experience in drag cars, muscle, trucks and tractor trailers,....

The project: The wife’s 05 tb 4x4. JUST PAIED OFF!!! So needless to say it time to start modifying, anyways the car has 130,000 I just rebuild the transmission last weekend. And have plans on doing a lift wheels and tires for now, and we will see how it progresses from there as am sure it will. The truck will be 90% street driven. Occasional beach/trails.

I had the pleasure of meeting markmc in person yesterday, and I received a ton of information on what I needed for the truck. I have since ordered a 3'' sus lift, new front and rear shock, I am holding off on wheel spacer/adapters right at the moment. Just in case I find a set of full size wheels that she likes. I plan on buying a new set of 265/75/16 (or equivalent sized on a different sized rim) bgf all terrain.

anyways i just found this site last night after talking to mark an i am loving it , i would like to thank everyone for making this site and tank in advance for any and all question i may have.

Have a great day

Ouch, I'm offended because I know where Chippewa Bay is... Tad further north of Alexandrea Bay, In the thousand islands. Owning a boat in that area is more appropriate than a lifted TB, but hey we all have our own hobbies. Boating just happened to be one of mine since I too am fom upstate and our summer home is in the same area. :coffee2:

Welcome! There's a former Huey crew chief (hope I remembered right) down there near Orlando by the name of dirtybacon. Let's hope he finds this thread and says hi!
