I dislike $300 pieces of bumpy orange plastic, but I deal. He'll get over it.

I'm hoping that they will maintain their commitment to providing matching carcasses. I suspect one could look at the interior "grain" of the rubber to verify maybe?

I'm not in the market for a set either, I've used them on two occasions and have not been convinced of the value of $300 or the space they would take up. He also mentioned they are about to file a lawsuit against smittybuilt because they refuse to stop making a cheaper version, claiming patent violation.

Agreed. For being one of, if not their most aggressive pattern, I'd like to see some side bite as well.

I'm guessing they're for monster mud truck wannabe use with no need for side bite lugs, but that list of mall-cruiser sizes can't support real mud trucks. Maybe the target market is the monster mud Samurai enthusiasts.

I was wondering what kind of gears that thing needs to run 35s.

5.38 or 6.17 maybe. Or maybe they swapped a motor or doubled tc or have a low geared tranny. More than just gears are in the equation.

FWIW, the biggest size available for these, is the tire size i run right now... And I'm looking to go a size bigger on my next set. I can run 33's if i crank the torsion bars to level the front. These are pretty small for any big mud trucks. Maybe the target is stock or near stock Jeeps.

It is simple. The sizes out now are stock pickup sizes. What is the most common vehicle...pickup truck. Thats their bread n butter. We offroad users are an afterthought.

I got you, They introduce a product in the most common sizes, see if it flops or sells, and than expand the line to "specialty" sizes.

Might put a set on my ranger for the summer and see how they do, but Im also a big fan of treadwright so I guess I'm more open to trying out there new products.
