Just curious if anyone else has done this before. 
headliner removal

So I'm planning on dropping the headliner in the near future, going to try to run wiring and maybe put something up there depending what I find in behind it. Looks straight forward, remove clips, screws, and pull back or remove pillars. Not sure how complex it is to drop the overhead control up front. My last 'straight forward' project went from 3 hours to 2 days. Just curious if anyone else has done this before.

2006 shouldn't be TOO difficult. The worst bit is removing the earl model sunvisors if I recall the process correctly.

Yeah I remember a lot of guys saying the visors are a real PIA. I've needed to replace my sunroof thing for almost a year and keep putting it off.

Already had fun with the visors once, but I think those I can handle. How the heck is the overhead console mounted up there? Can't find the screws, I'm thinking it's clipped on?

The visible parts (the ones with buttons) snap off and the screws are underneath.

Interesting, I'd love to see some pics or something whenever you do this. Sounds like it would be a decent way to run some wiring.
