I am an automotive collision repair professional, restorer, and work on boats/motorcycles in my spare time. I have access to Michell, CCC, Alldata, Solus, OE parts data bases, ect. Hopefully I can contribue something usefull to this awesome site. I have been on the fence about keeping my DD trailblazer that has 135k miles. She is an 02'LTZ 4X4 bone stock except for tire/wheel pakage. I have had to replace AC Compressor, Radiator and cap, Rear end, shocks, struts, water pump, fan clutch, and brake components. I need to fix sunroof and AC/heater temp gate. Overall she has been pretty good to me and she has been paid for for a very long time so I dont mind putting some money and TLC into her. I tow a boat and take it to the snow regularly. Gas cosumption has always been poor at 14 MPG overal. I have installed lift/leveling kits on quite a few vehicles but never owned one myself. I will probably stay pretty conservative with my wheel and tire package as towing MPG is a concern since I tow a couple thousand miles a year fishing tournaments. I live close to Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National parks and there are many trails/fire roads to explore. I am rambling. This site has renewed my interest in my Traiblazer and I think we will keep it in the family for a long, long time. Thanks to the site creators, mods, and contributors for making this site such a great resource. I will post picks at some point. The lift will be in the very near future :-)

Welcome! I usually do a week offroading in your area around now each year. Sometimes on the west, more often lately around Bishop and the Owens Valley. Have very vivid memories of a fire lookout tour I did one year - Buck Rock Tower is the coolest.

A bit late to the party, but glad to have you. Looking forward to what you may be able to contribute - part information wise. You sound like you could come in handy!
