Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Tube Bumper

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

by SaltWaterDrinker » Wed Aug 29, 2012 7:00 am

So I went drunken sailor status as of last night...and all the money is going right into my Trailblazer(and a new phone).

I'm looking to ditch my plastic bumper altogether and go for a tube bumper. I don't necessarily want a stinger bar - a light hoop will do, but that is what I am aiming for. I cannot embark in any DIY work as I don't have the time or the expertise, so I was hoping that someone would know of one that is easily adaptable to our platform that is sold online or a dealer.

Thanks!

Make sure you budget in to buy or build a radiator skid plate. Without the front cover the radiator is really exposed.

Comparing his to the one on the website highlights what looks like some major differences; has anyone been in contact with him lately so I could ask him how he accomplished that, or what he did to modify it?

Rgr on the Rad skid - I'm working to get that squared away now.

The radiator is the giant radiator looking thing that hangs below the bumper bar and frame. :angry whip:

How can everybody not know Teebes is on an Alaskan Expedition? I haven't gotten a location update in over 24 hours, though.

Mario, try to go to page 4 of that tread, it kicks you back to page 3. VS must have not liked something Roadie said :-)

I switched mine to 40 per page and it only goes to #30. If I keep it on 10 per page, it shows 4 pages but everytime I click page 4 it changes me back to page 3.

Vertical Scope screwed up their data base by putting so many folks on global ignore where their posts disappeared from one count but not from others. At least Teebes' pictures are still there although he also got banned like me. That Teebes was banned and NEVER posted over there for over a year is absolute proof that they're intruding into PMs. Crooks. Chickenshit crooks.

Looks like he rolled into camp really late last night. Must be taking the morning slow and exploring the area.
