I bought a 16' deck car trailer for 700. Excuse me for the ignorance as I don't follow the expo world, are these things really worth that much?

one that isn't rusted out and rolls for $500 is a deal.
One that is in pretty good shape is usually over $800.
Sounds like you fix the tongue and put a lid on it and you are ready to go.
