I'm 16 and my first ride is an 04 TrailBlazer. It currently has a Lift Meister 2.5" lift and is about to recieve some 265 mud terrains. My mom responded with a little eye roll and mumbled something about me being just like my father.

I'm half tempted to straight-axle it just to screw with her. :finger:

haha I have been trying to think of a way to sabatage her new Explorer so that may be a better cantidate for some straight axles and a big block. I'll get right on it... :mechanic:

kids these days... my first vehicle was an 85 nissan 2WD pickup that I gave $800 for and here they go riding around in vehicles that are about as nice as I have ever owned!

I could get through most mud holes with enough speed.
What would I have done with a nice 4X4!

I bought mine last year for $400. It has 226,000 miles and had a bad tranny when I bought it. I paid a shop to put a rebuilt tranny in it, $1,100, and I wouldn't be afraid to park it next to anyone's with 70,000 miles. I know cars really well and I trust it as much as anything else. I have friends with new Jeep JKs and it makes me sick.

way to go Austin, the difference is if you want to drive down a tight trail where you will get a lot of "Texas Pinstriping" you won't mind and the guys with the JKs likely won't go.

That's the best part. I want mine dirty 'cause that means I was out doing something bad ass and had a good time. Besides, it'll buff out... :finger:
