Just joined here after seeing this Forum on google. I loved what I saw. I'm 16 and just got a 2003 GMC Envoy as my first car. As of right now, I've only had it for about a month so It's all stock, but I went off-roading on the Beach and Sand Dunes last night and I loved it. I'd love if some of you more experienced Envoy enthusiasts could help me out in terms of giving advice on what would make off-roading better in terms of parts as well as looks (Gotta keep my Pimp hand strong, lol). But in all seriousness, Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Haha That's what's up! I plan on doing some serious off road additions to this, and I need a Lift Kit. I was driving Last night on this trail that went to a beach, and the tire Treads from previous people were so low on each side that a few times the middle of the car was clipping. Why the hell do they make them so low if they claim they are for offroading?!

Haha I was wondering the same thing last weekend when I was on a local trail with a few of my friends. I'm stock beside a K&N, so my frame was rubbing a lot too. The front of our vehicles is about 1-1.5 lower then the back so that's why. They prolly have it like that just so it handles and brakes better. But yeah I have been looking at lifts for awhile now. Hopefully I can get one before school ends....

I can see why they'd do it if it was for handling, but other than that, it doesn't make any sense to me.. and tbangert, thank you!

Yeah it's dumb, I can't wait till I get lifted haha.

And yeah I joined this site about a Month ago and the amount of knowledge displayed on this site is incredible. Guys like James downing, roadie, fish sticks and multiple others have spent a lot of time researching and testing ideas for the 360 platform.

Yeah, I was honestly just trying to do my own research about my Envoy and kept coming to dead ends. Until I found this haha. The amount of knowledge about TB's and Envoy's on here is amazing

Haha, There is nothing more that bothers me when people type and don't know how to spell, don't use proper punctuation, and have no idea on how to make a sentence and have it make sense.
