For now yes but I figure if these work then there's always the option to get the 12" or 14" coils which could eliminate the need for the spacers(in theory). Not trying to take away from any of the vendors or anything, just looking for new alternatives and I was thinking of going with a lower rate but this was $30 a spring so I couldn't pass it up lol I've got 83s right now and they've begun sagging pretty bad I have some extra weight from a cheapo bull bar I picked up for around $40, it weighs about 80lbs obviously not as much as the armor and steel bumpers but should keep me from straining the cv boots too much. They should be in end of this week or early next week I'll keep y'all posted and make sure I get some before and after pics along with how the ride is after.

Mudwheelin wrote:Nice! Do you think it will have less stress on the cv's with just a spring instead of a 2.5" spacer lift?

CV Stress is related to angle, not spring pressure/length.
4" of suspension lift from a spacer+88 spring = 4" longer coils as far as the CVs are concerned.
You will likely get more stuff from that setup though. Check to see how much space you have, or your tires may self-clearance the fenders.
lupisnegris77 wrote:Damn fish you beat me to it lol. But yes I'm thinking there could be a lot of gains out of a setup like this possibly even the ability to up the ante to 37s with the springs and body lift lol. I will continue to experiment though and hope to get the results we all want.
