Yeah, I might be more likely to make it out for the following day for some wheelin'.

Well if this is the case, we can camp at one of the sites thats not far into the trail so that the people that wheel the first day can leave without having problems getting out, and the people that come the second day can find us easily- just an idea....

Ok Bot , I'm in for $10 :gimp: Jemima Mt, here we come. Providing of course Tom has his 4x4 working :poke: .

I have been dealing with some brake issues. Posting on the OS.

That's pretty far Tom. I thought Jersey wasn't that big and Wharton isn't that far south. You up in bergen county or somethin ? You can't see the manhattan skyline from your town can you ? . . .I can see the philly skyline from where i'm sitting :fro: (not as impressive though).

Sweet! So, is that $30 in the pot so far, or just $20? Feeling how cold it is tonight, I might be leaning more towards a day trip...

... I guess I'm in for 10, we should make it a part of wheeling that day! And yeah a full day trip might be a better idea if it is gonna be too cold, I wouldn't want to put anyone in harms way.

And yes with a 5 minute drive to the beach i can see the NYC skyline on a nice day and Bot should know jersey is about a 3 hour drive top to bottom. I'm exit 109 and it takes 1:15 to get to NY at a brisk pace w/o traffic (common in North Jersey, I know its a shock to you southern guys) and about 1:45 to the beach on Cap May traveling fast. I'm almost dead center...

:drive: Rules For Conquering Jemima Mt :excited:
1. You must have a Working drivetrain (figured you'd like this ;) )
2. You must be able to scale each and every trail both up and down.
3. Spotters are allowed and can be shared
4. There must be video proof
5. Winching up doesn't count
6. Having another truck pull you up doesn't count
7. You must make it up the hill under your own power.
8. He who makes all trails wins, there can be a tie.
9. No cry baby's...

Maybe i should get some mods done before this....hmmm???!!!

Why don't you just come up for the day and throw your money into the pot...???

:Iagree: I might put my money on that G80 myself, but my greater clearance and tread might give me a lil bit of an edge :gimp:

I think there might be benefits to a day trip only. One of them being attendees.

Hmm... Looks like i may be at a disadvantage... I might have to try to sway the odds. Plus Bot has mud tires...

How do you like my Rules?

I like the rules but what happens if someone dosen't make it up ALL the hills ?

Bot definetly has the best groung clearance with them huge M/Ts and those ruts are pretty deep.
My front end is vertically challenged with smaller tires and I only have a 1.75 " spacer up front. . . . but. . . My G-80 helped me do some things in 2WD at TECORE II that impressed me. . . as long as you pick your lines :viking: (thanks for the vote of confidence JD). Not alot of lines to choose from on those hills. Looks like they have been chosen and used for a long time.

Gentelmen, . . . lets fling some dirt :flex dirty: .

Yes, perhaps we should amend that to say that all participants must make it up all of the same hills.

I guess if we are doing this as a day trip, we can put it as Sat, Dec 5? Unless Sunday is better for everyone.

I donno Saturday or Sunday...

We will start on the hill all the way to the left (i believe this was the easiest of them other then the one to the right we went up last time.) Then move right to the intermediate sloped hill (this will really show us if we can even attempt that nasty one). Then we will attempt that last nasty hill with all the ruts and holes (if it is deemed to dangerous to run will not include this in the results of the contest). It is the participants free will to deny trying a hill, however if other participants make it up that hill they will be knocked out.

:drive: Rules For Conquering Jemima Mt :excited:

6. Having another truck pull you up doesn't count
7. You must make it up the hill under your own power.
8. He who makes all trails wins, there can be a tie.
9. No cry baby's...

Determination of Winner:
-Whoever makes it up and down the most hills is declared Victorious :viking:
-If no one makes it up any the pot will be returned to the original owners.
-If two or more participants make it up and down the same hills, they split the pot.
-If all participants complete the challenge then everyone gets back their money.

Please feel free to add or edit the rules... these are just an idea for it.

I'm cool with the rules. C'mon, Brendan. What the worst that happens? You can't make it and have to be pulled up or down.... :poke:
