Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Hello

New members: please introduce yourself here.

by HuskyWagon » Thu Nov 17, 2011 1:44 pm

Hello all - Just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. Recently ditched our gas hog 3/4 ton Sierra for a gently used '05 TB 4wd. Looking forward to using this as my DD along with the weekend trail/camping/fishing rig. Please have some patience with me as this if my first forum and lets just say I am more mechanically than technology inclined.

Near Future Plans:

Front and Rear Lift
Roof Rack (hopefully custom built)
Wheels and Tires
Storage Platform
Auxillary Lighting

Long Term Plans
Customer Front bumper with Winch
Rear Bumper with Swing out Carrier

Cheers -

Dan

Welcome Dan, you've come to the right place for all things offroad for our platform. If you can't find it here you can likely find it on the sister site (trailvoy.com)

Answers to most common questions can be found by using the search feature and reading through some of the stickies.
"Please consider a search before posting. Folks on this site PIONEERED functional offroad use of these trucks."

Thank you for such a warm welcome. Looking forward to getting a build thread started in the next several weeks. I have a few items that need to be removed (personal preferences) and then the real fun should begin.

I had actually found offroadtb.com as I lurked around on expedition portal. My interest in the trailblazer as a 4wd platform started when I saw JD's build thread.

JD also inspired me. Glad I'm not the only one drooling over his stuff...
