I txted dandizzle tnite but got no reply

I got in touch with a guy from the OS that has a roughcountry 2.5" leveling kit (keepontruckin) about possibly comin down. He was talkin about comin down with his jeep buddy around 7pm before finding out about us goin. Hes gona try and get someone to cover him at work, if so, hes in. Not sure how many trucks hes gonna be bringing along with him though...only time will tell...

This list is lookin pretty good so far gents :safari:

These trips are pretty much open, as long as there's no one thats really slowing down the pack anyone is welcome. Just don't be bringing a friend with a Duece that ruts the trail so big we couldn't think about passing.

Yea dude, that was like a 2ft deep rut...why would a rig like that even bother? He could do 40mph through the whole thing and itd be like drivn through a parking lot...

Ill also be towing a quad down behind me, we could prob use him as our leader for water crossings/depth measure.

ANYONE WHO HAS WALKIE TALKIES BRING THEM CHARGED!
-i understand we dont all have CB's, so walkie talkies worked well for me and foosh last weekend so well stick to it :drive:

Nice looking crew we got building up here. No walkie talkies, but I do have a cb. And I'm going to try to pick up some recovery equip before Sunday. Also, who's up for studying some topo maps beforehand so we can try and have a skeleton route before we arrive? I'll be doing that the next couple of days.

Mario and myself also have cbs. If you want to meet up earlier than the meet time on sun to go over possible routes, i'm game. I highlited the trails we ran last time we were there. Seemed like Mario and Dan's gps were more detailed than the topos I got from the state office. I'd like to get one or two topos to go with the two I have though. I think there are a total of six for the entire forest. 155000 acres. Big place.

Ok... looking like we're all in!

As Far as it goes I'm thinking while we're all together, we lay plans for one last BIG trip before winter kicks into ful force, maybe in mid to late November. I'll discuss more of what i want to run on sunday, but it maybe a camping weekend trip...

Sounds like something I could dig. As I really would like to get out of the swamps before it gets too cold. We'll talk on Sunday.

It's odd and sick at the same time that you guys have about a ten times higher density of lifted trailvoys per square mile than CA does. Teebes and I couldn't put together a six-truck meet if we had six months notice. It must be the law of conservation of excitement, though. When we DO go out, we have ten times the fun. :finger:

Seriously, I get jealous. :wallbash:

Roadie, its different wheeling and a different area here... most of us live in heavily populated suburbs and wheeling is not easy to find, for most of us we can't just drive 15 minutes and be on a trail somewhere. I think alot of it is we're doing somthing with nature and we get to leave our busy highpaced lives behind for the day. But yeah Jersey is not huge, and we have alot of active offroaders, the days I have gone sometimes are spur of the moment and we'll end up with 4 trucks.

HAHAHAHA I make the Roadie jealous, score 1 for the Jersey BOYS!

We are breeding like rabbits, though. Every time I turn around, seems like someone else in Jersey wants to smell the air up here. :drive:

Hey, off topic question.
Most of us have GPS or can link to Google maps. Some of the trips in this forum have links to the area or google coordinates. Could we do this when possible please. :?:

Nothing to do with the meet place but Goin over my topos. Jeremiah mount might be interesting. One way up the hill. Looks like a bunch of small trails branch off of there on the top. It's off off sandy ridge near quaker bridge.
