Jansey86 and I went on a ride up the powerlines with some guys from my club Western mass 4x4. It was an awsome day this is a few pics and a lil info. Will deffently be heading back there in the spring.

Carnage Hill Power lines (NH) Details:

DETAILS:
This is a moderate level trail and you will need a minimum of 31s, 33's and a locker suggested though so you can make the most of it. There are some nice drop offs, flat rock climbs, and a couple of mud holes. If there is time we'll try to hit some of the other short trails that are available.

The event will be open to our current WM members and pending members. There is currently space for about 20 rigs however this may change slightly. Current WM 4x4 members are allowed 1 guest vehicle subject to approval by WM 4x4 Board of Directors first. If this is your first time wheeling with us or you are still in a pending status we’re sorry, but for this ride you will not be allowed to bring any extra wheelers unless they are seated in your rig. If you have any interest in attending please sign up early to secure your spot. Hope to see you on the trail

***NOTE: CB's are not required, but are highly recommended do to the size of the property we will be covering. 2way handheld radios will do as well***

Requirements for attending:

1) You will need a minimum of 31s to participate on this run and a locker is advised
2) Everyone in the vehicle must have there own seat belt
3) Front and Rear tow points for all participating vehicles
4) A 20’ min. tow strap capably of pulling your rig (ratchet straps of any kind DO NOT COUNT)
5) Full size spare tire or close too (33” spare for 35s, 31” spare for 33s, you get the point)

Summary: Carnage hill Richmond NH is a great trail for a lil experince. Right off the bat both Nick (jansey86) and i had an issue with a couple large rocks. After that we came to a rock face coverd in ice that was a bit of an interesting ride down. Every one was winched down by one of the guys that came with us on the ride. Ater that a 2-3 ft water hole nice and slow for my self up over the hood for Nick. Couple lil rock faces and a turn around where the jeeps got to play around on. Great trail took about a half day.
