Not to come off too rude, but there is nothing nice about that. If that was done with a 220 mig, it looks like he had the gun about a inch or two away from the weld with epileptic seizures.

But, I don't think that would be your squeaking problem, probably one of the bushing or ball joints like mentioned.. Another thing we see often, if you tend to clean your truck all the time (not saying you, just for others reference) and you clean the shocks and struts, you need to oil the shaft. If you don't, and you wash the shock shaft all the time, it dries out the seal and causes the strut to squeak.. I've warranted allot of shocks due to that..!
