Haha... let's not forget that I was in the midst of planning a wedding... 2 if you consider the Back Home Reception a month later....

So far, so good... I'm itching to get out there. But it has to be early. I'm talking meeting up in Wharton at like 9... 10 the latest...

I've been dying to get some new shots with the new camera...

When you said early, I thought you were talking earlier than that. Maybe 8-9 ? It's like my mammy used to say . . .The early bird gets the fresh trails :drive:

Hah, you guys are soft... Borrego for me was leaving at midnight, getting there at 3, sleeping 2 hours until 5 in the car, and then tooling around in the cold desert morning waiting for Roadie and Teebes... Don't even ask me about the drive back... 4 hours of pure LA HELL traffic.

From the pix i have seen of Borrego, The drive is well worth it. We don't have much country like that. Hell, i'm half tempted to take the 3000 mile drive just to hit those trails.

I know Southern Cal has some crazy traffic. I wish PA let motorcycles ride in between cars during gridlock traffic like CA. I assume you have never driven on the highways around Phila or the boroughs of New York/ North Jersey have you ? Rt 76 (The Skookill Expy) by philly has backed up traffic jams for no apparent reason at all hours of the night besides the normal rush hour 20 mile gridlock in both directions along with every connected artery.

Fun Fun Fun !

Not Philly, but have visited New York for family. I vastly prefer the driving style around NYC, regardless of traffic level... much better than people in CA who forget that they're driving for a while and just sit at green lights... or chat on phones/shave/apply make up/curl their eyelashes.

btw... :hijack: :viking:

Brendan, you can ride in my slip stream... you should pick up a few mpgs and go a little faster. But I'm up for a meet place, I'm figuring that we do the place we all met last time, or just at the Atson entrance.

I'll make it!!! :flex dirty:

I wonder if JD would take the ride out... its only about 2.5 hrs away... would be about same distance as Brendan...

What do you say, James? I know Wharton is child's play compared to what you've conquered, but would be fun...
