anyways im from Queens, New york and have a 05 GMC Envoy 4x4

2011 Tahoe Rear Shocks (with the washers that nobody talks about )

Welcome man, I am also from Queens. Nice looking truck, if you plan on wheeling forget the bull bar and save the money for some other mods in the future.

welcome Jeremyah, do you have any more info on your front Bilstein coilovers with longer springs? It sounds like another option for those just wanting to level things up.

Well, now you just gotta develop a plan and lift it. Looks like you've got at least a rough idea of what you want to do. You've got a few of us around the area and a fair bit more within a couple hour drive. Nice to see another Envoy. I would look hard at Moots and Regulator as the Envoy gives a couple more challenges due to smaller fender clearance, but nothing crazy.

i don't plan on serious offroading but i want a good lift noting to crazy like a sas swap but i do want it to be usable and i dont want a lift just for looks. and besides i don't i would go anywhere if i did a real offroad lift since i would get no mpg's and im already getting 9mpg maybe i can drive on the dirt in the gas station and call it offroading since that's as far as i'll get

If you're getting 9 mpg now, there's something really amiss and you should probably get it addressed. You should be seeing at least 14 or 15. On the trailblazer with 32s and 3.42s with a tire on a roof rack I was seeing 12-13, with 4.10s and 33s on the envoy I'm seeing around 14, I think Moots is 15mpg or better since he swapped to 4.56s

Moral of the story, you can improve mpg with mods!

You'll find most of us daily drive our trucks and many of us find that after the first trip we're hooked. Which results in driving in groups hours away to wheel anda hang out for a weekend few times a year.

If you're just looking for appearance slap on a MarkMC suspension lift, some spacers or adapters and some 32s on stock wheels. No need for skids or anything.
