Hey guys,
I purchased my TB Ltz about 2 months ago. I'm 17, and I really want to learn more about what I can do to my TB, and what I can learn just in general about modding vehicles. :excited:
So far what I have seen from on here is that you guys will be the most help to me :)

But really, any starting points, or anyone in the Salem area who is willing to take me under their wing and teach me a thing or two would be wonderful! :)

I don't really know what else I should be saying so this will be good for now :)

Thanks all,
Derek

Welcome to the site. The first step is deciding what you want to do with your truck, before you start buying parts, spending money or doing anything else. Figure out what you'll use it for, what you want out of it, what kind of mission you have for it. That will determine what you do.

Weather you just want a nice looking rugged DD or an extreme SAS mud truck is all determined by you.

BTW, please take the time to read the welcome thread, it's long but a lot of questions are answered in it: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3060

Welcome! Not many of us Oregon people on here, :wallbash: I'm about 6 hours from you. :safari:
The problem with the Trailblazer is, people think you know what you're doing.

Thanks for the replies, I think that the 6 hours will be doable once I figure out what I want to do, buy it, and need help with installs :safari: :mechanic:

Things I want to do:
-Lift. More specifically, a suspension lift.
-New springs, Maybe ones that add an inch or two?? :hmm:
-New rear shocks
-Running Boards delete
-Resonator delete
-Armor
-And most importantly, rescue gear :D
-OH!!! Tires too, 32's fit my style I think :)
Question...How much does it cost to get 4wd fixed?

On a side note, I will post pics tomorrow :awesome:

Welcome,

As to how much will it cost to fix your 4 wheel drive... well that depends on what is wrong with it. There is a nice walk through on some testing that may help you narrow it down here on the site though. I'd suggest starting with that and then giving us a more detailed explanation of the problem your having. After that, cost will depend on ability and choice of repair shops if you have to go to one.

Don't know why the url, image, or photobucket inserts won't work for me :/

Welcome Derek. There is much useful information here, as Mike has brought up, spend some time hitting the build threads and determine what you want out of your truck and what your budget is.
What else can you share about the drive-train problems; not much to go on so far.
Cheers
