Looks good, feels good... just need G80 now.

Ebay vendors are STILL selling the Readylift style 2-3" OUTSIDE the strut spacers. Criminally negligent to sell those to a 4WD vehicle owner because of CV damage risk, and very, very risky to install even on a 2WD due to ball joint damage.

For only $75-130, these kits get a lot of frugal owners suckered in if they don't do the research first.

Welcome to ORTB, but please let us know more about the lift you bought. We're worried for your safety if it was one of the cheapies.

Welcome, what part of OH? And Roadie is correct...your lift may do harm to the vehicle and leave you and others on the road in danger if it is outside of the strut.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

SuzukiZ, it would be good to see some pics of your build. I don't know of anyone running a 255/85/17.

A lil hole called Bergholz, SE tristate area... tons of off roading to do hear. I was scepticle about the lift also, but for the price I had to see for myself. The balljoint angle WAS maxxed, I flipped the UCA's and all is golden now. I've spent almost 2 weeks putting the test to it... even catchin AIR a couple of times, and there is no probs at all, no alxe rap at full ext, the only thing was the strut arm hit the coil springs before i moved the LCA's out, but now they clear by almost 1/2" now. I don't want to offend anyone with my first post, but I truly believe this kit is solid. I will keep updated.

Can you share a link to the one you bought?

I am down near Cinci just over in IN. If you got good places to wheel and camp, I think a few of us would be willing to head that way this spring.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/180923226884?ss ... 1439.l2649

I also have the 1.5" wheel spacers.

I have 6 acres of open field for camp, and live about 25 mins from (what i belive) is some of the best 4wheelin the east has to offer(Wellsville, OH), excluding Blackwater & Hatfield.

I don't think anyone would be offended. Our goal here is for folks to get out and explore more and be safe while doing so. Those outside the strut (OTS) lifts just concern us because it is more likely for them to cause the CV to bind at full extension and the extreme BJ angle is a major safety concern.

You might be the first to do a UCA flip with an OTS lift so some up close pics would be great.

Have you jacked up each side up front and checked your rotation at full droop to confirm there is no binding?

Yes, I had jacked the front and check at full turn also, my driver side inner CV boot was blowin grease, added 4" hose clamp and all squared away.

Here are a couple of pics... I only took some of the driver's side cause it is rainin like crazy (wooha maybe some floodin to go play in)

More than gnarley, some parts are down right CRAZY... I've never taken a 4x4 there, but have been tearin it up on the quad for years (but someone had stolen my quad when i crashed the rocket). So now I'm plannin to tear it up with the TB I guess.

Then went to a Honda 450r, sunk a bunch of cash in it, and now some theif is enjoying it. I live by the born to lose philosophy. But I still have fun tring to sqeeze a win.
