It does seem that way. Makes me pretty upset honestly haha Hoping to find a good solution asap, I am ordering my suspension components this weekend, I have been reading all day and night looking for answers now. I love doing the research, and digging for the information. But I have reached the end of my comprehension for the moment haha

you can either go with Moogs like a few others are doing or just go with the coilovers.

Moogs or the Radflos are the only real option anymore. Myself and a lot of others have said we'd do the Radflos right from the get go if they were around back then. I've been tucking money away.

If you've got some 3.42s 33s will be rough on the transmission and fuel mileage, but they do look awful nice and seem to help with crawling over stuff.

Aren't the 86 springs still available?

By the way, welcome to the site Nick. Always good to see a new member that has done some reading and posts a good intro like this.

Looking forward to seeing some of your photography.

Hey Nick, welcome to the site. It is nice to see someone that has taken some time to develop a plan rather then just showing up and asking to be spoon fed.

When you ready to do your suspension lift, give me a shout. There is a decent group of offroad guys in the Chicago area and we all enjoy getting together to help (or stand around and watch) another truck get a little higher off the ground. I would love to drive in and I am sure I can get a few other trucks together.

Thanks guys! Sorry for my late reply, unfortunately Mother Nature decided I needed an indoor aquatic center in my basement 0_o

For now I think I am just going to go with the moogs, I don't have the extra cash for the radflows at the moment.

James, I have looked around and done some reading and it seems that gm cancels a lot of the orders placed. I would be interested in the 86's though. For the added weight in the front from the armor bumper, would 86's be better than the moogs?

I will most likely stay with 32" tires, James your rig was actually the first to catch my eye here on the site. I have the same year and color, unfortunately no G80 though :( but I have read yours, as well as about a million other build threads now and I'm definitely looking forward to getting the ball rolling on this project!

Matt, thank you I definitely will do so! There are a few decent trails out my way we can go test it out on afterwards :D

Thank you to all of you, I have done quite a bit of reading trying to get a better understanding of what's going on, and how to properly build a rig. Happy to be a part of the group! Now I just have to make my truck as nice as the ones on here haha

I have some of photography work at the following places if you want to check it out:

Some of my more recent work:
Facebook fan page: www.facebook.com/nicholasaphoto

My entire portfolio: (weddings and business stuff included) I have another website in the works to separate my work but it's not ready for launch yet. But anyways, just click through to portfolio, the "fine art" collection is traveling through galleries nationwide as we speak! Some of the work on my fan page won't be on here because the second websites in the works.
