I wasn't dismissing them. I was just letting him know since some people do not like a firm ride. I can definitely say that I like the ride a lot better with the Z71s than without with the same loads that I have hauled multiple times. I like the ride without a load as well, but I was expecting it to be more like a truck ride with the swap.

I am going with MarkMc's New suspension lift. 88 springs up front with bilstien hd's rear z71 springs and have not decided what shocks to use in rear. I will take all input on this set up. My truck is totally stock right now. What size tires do you think I can fit with this setup on stock 17 inch wheels. I know I will need wheels spacers. Im going to wait till I get all this stuff and do it at once. Please let me know if there is any compatibility issues with any of these items or if there is going to be any trimming ect.... I read that I might want to flip upper control arms too.

88 springs plus mark's lift is going to be really high, especially without a bunch of steel up front.

I'd do the lift first, then add weight to the front... then get your springs upgraded to prevent topping out the front end.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. I should be ok with stock shocks up front with marks new lift right? With the z71's in the rear will the factory shocks do for now as well?

You should probably upgrade both sets of shocks.

Randy, what thread? Normally we will only sticky threads that have nearly all of the information well documented in the first post.

Marks 3 inch body lift installed now quite a job by myself! I may start a build thread shortly. I have collected almost all the stuff I need for a suspension lift next. :safari:
