Good point, but I'll spend $300 for the deck and I have no monthly fees. I have well over 5000 songs and counting.

I am not trying to put down your opinion, I do appreciate the thoughts though...

Love XM, well worth the $$ not to be messing with CDs,Tapes,or channel surfing FM on the trails or long trips.

I can't say It's any worse than FM, If anything It's better than FM but not as good as a CD.

I've never used XM, didn't realize the quality wasn't great.
Honestly though I can't tell much difference between FM (on a clear signal) and CD.

I don't really notice it when I have gotten used to listening to XM, but when a song I dislike comes on, and I switch over to the iPod, it's immediately evident because the treble and bass both fill out.
