Hey everyone!

My name is Andy and I'm the new guy.

In the summer of 2002 my mom bought a brand new Trailblazer LS with few/none options. now 12 years and 175,000 miles later, it has become mine.

The day after i bought it from them, I was rear ended by a VW Bug. Still waiting to hear back from insurance. Damage estimate was 4300, and it will most likely be a total loss to the insurance company.

I fared much better than the bug:

The good news is, I found a truck that had been T-boned. It was even the same green color. I got all of the rear pieces, as well as the front bumper cover and hood (mom's "oops") for $200. Once everything is finalized with the insurance I will be fixing the pool thing.

After that, plans call for tint, a new head unit, and probably a sub.

I picked up a set of TBSS wheels for dirt cheap, so I've been reading the boards to see what my options for low profile AT or MT tires would be.

Poor bug took a hit! That's worse than the Saab I had under my truck a few weeks ago. lol
Do you plan to offroad your truck?
It's not how fast you go. It's how quick you get there. Lifted TBSS Build

Thanks guys!

Still not sure what direction the TB will go. Original plan was to keep it stock and just be a DD. Came here looking for more info on common problems and the good lift/tire information. Haven't been much of an offroader. Play more with mustangs. Just picked up a used Vortech S-Trim kit for my Mustang.

We're glad to have you no matter your mission William. I think what Eric was going to segue into was, if you're not into the off-road scene, you should also check out GMTNation.com. They have a pretty dedicated group of guys for our platform too, and they don't focus on dirt as much.
