I ran across this article in a different forum and figured I'd post it up here. It's a good read not only for the information in the post, but also a good read for the mental preparation for different scenarios.

There are some good philosophies in the article, some otherwise good advice, and beneficial ways of thinking about the different possible scenarios.

Nice and well spelled out really. Have read many such articles, but liked how it had flexibility of suggestions built-in. The key is to blend and it is mental as much as anything. Being comfortable in any of that or with any of the gear is critical or you will stick out.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.
