Nobody has posted a trip report from Colorado in a while, so I'll go ahead and do just that.
The road up to Keystone's Wayback and Outback lifts isn't challenging in any sense, but it does allow me to drive around a place that I'm otherwise familiar with from snowboarding. Plus, my right side front suspension has been having all sorts of issues lately and I just wanted to throw enough at the suspension to try to diagnose what is going on. (I figured it out... one of the control arm bushings is junk.)
I haven't posted much in a while. In short: I totally reworked my front end (bigger springs, new control arms, new inner/out tie rod ends, new CV axles, new shocks), got my bumper (bartonmd) and skids on, got some proper tires (Nitto Trail Grapplers), and some other small things done to the truck. My next project is lights.
Anyway, I drove up Keystone Gulch today, stopping to take photos at the ski lifts that I've only ever been to during the winter.
