Guys, not sure what everyone's opinions are, but should we keep this more to members of this site? That's generally been the rule in the past.

IMO, if we have 8 360/370's coming, yes... If not, who cares?

Tag along in your vehicle, unless we have only 6 from ORTB turn out to this event (I say 6 because I think someone else said something about bringing a buddy first).

Make sense? Give spot priority to people of this forum, and if we don't meet the 8 truck limit, then we can invite outsiders.

If I do come I won't know until a few days before. I would probably be better off tagging along with somebody rather than bring my own truck, as I'm not as well equipped as everyone else. Would prefer not to be a burdensome noooob...

Honestly, as long as you have a tent and a bit of lift, you should be fine for this trip. We just ask you are prepared with a spare tire and if possible a CB.

And if you don't have a CB, several of us have extra portable CBs, so let us know if you don't have one...

So here's what we know right now, due to the fuel situation on a 1000 mile round trip... The videos and stuff worked out a lot better with extra people last spring, anyway... Run up to the front, tape, hop in with Kyle as he goes by...

Definitely:

Rory (NC_IslandRunner)
Hardtrailz (with Barton riding along)
Regulator1175 (with Barton's friend Kevin riding along)
James AKA The ORTB Godfather(JamesDowning)

Tentatively:

Mario(Gordinho80)
Ben(Nakashige)
Bob(MrSmithsTB)
Ryan(rjoog1989)

Any NC member wants to tag along I may be willing to open up my pass seat, would be great for someone who has never been offroad and wants to get their feet wet before jumping in.

WARNING: THIS MAY LEAD TO OBSESSIVE BEHAVIOR!!! :flex dirty: :mechanic: :wallbash: :safari:

I think I've asked this in the past, but do we want to do the same trails again? I know them well, and there are decent obstacles on them.

We could also decide to try to explore further this time, and cover some unknown territory. I'm good with whatever.

Do we want slower, harder trails? Or easier faster trails?

Just trying to formulate a good plan in my head - as of now I will 95% be there.

I dislike fast. I can do gravel roads here. Not offroading to me, but I can do whatever.

I like the tight 4-lo trails up to the scenic views. Dictum could be skipped to explore more area unless someone wants to go all the way down it with me. Not sure full trip up is possible without winching, but we could do that too.

I have enjoyed the last couple runs, but a few more obstacles would be fun.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

It's looking like I have to work that weekend. I figured it would be a long shot to get a whole weekend off, but I tried. Take some good pictures for me!
