I'll try to get ours together and online hopefully by tonight, if not tomorrow. I'm in total zombie mode after that drive and going to work at 9am.

Mike (Barton) had probably the coolest hitch mounted setup I've ever seen (not to discount his full on bumpers either). That thing is killer and I can see him selling a lot of those to a variety of people who want something they can take on and off at whim.

Youtube now has a "fix shaky camera" function. Here's the video I took, after the "fix"

Please let me know if it was too much. Just ask my wife - I can get a little over enthusiastic about things from time to time and get tunnel vision. So honestly, feedback on that would be helpful. I am not a good gauge.

Take all the video you want and make it look kick butt. No complaints here. That video is getting sent to my Jeep wheelin trash talking relatives once you post it up. It's bragging rights and if it makes us all look good, who ain't for that, lol.

For the time and money I have into it, It works absolutely incredible.

The camera is a ~$100 dollar point and shoot, And I got a second one used for $40.

The camera mount I got on Amazon for less than $3 bucks, and I bought one of those GPS suction cup pads for ~$1.

You said something about the one where I got stuck, like it was sideways or something? Youtube can change that after you upload it.

James, I was just being a smart ass about it. I certainly enjoy the end result and am just glad to be a part of it. There are no worries from my end of it.

Yeah, she had taken a video of you and everyone up to you. But it was vertical.

I have other footage I can use of that - I had attempted to use her video there, but by the time I rotated it and blew it up, the video quality had degraded a good bit.

But yeah, if you were willing to watch a skinny video, they (or youtube) can rotate it around.

Yeah, someone also never used the brand new GoPro I bought which recorded in 1080p, instead most of our stuff is with the Canon wanna be DSLR.

I've posted up the best photos from the event I processed thru photoshop here: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjEJ8yuR

A few of my favorite shots from the weekend:

Sorry guys!! It was a stupid mistake, and I knew better.

And I actually took several videos of Barton's little foray into the mud and getting out since we were there for a while. Those were all done properly.

Yeah, why didn't you use the GoPro?

Besides, some of those epic photos were taken by me, with the Cannon. :raspberry:

I spoke to Frank today. He went to the doctor. Obviously the trip didn't make his back any better. He says he doesn't regret going; he had a blast.

I found this on the way home. Looks like those "Squatch" hunters we came across are on to something.

Let me tell you the story of how Rory lost his phone on Friday.

Frank and I were walking into the bathroom at Walmart Friday morning. Rory passes us on his way out. Rory says "broke it in for ya"

I walk up to the urinal. Frank goes into the stall. I hear "Hey Dave, what kind of phone does Rory have?" I respond "I don't know why?" Frank than asks if Rory has a white truck. I say yea he does. So basically, we found a phone in the bathroom with ORTB.com left up in the bathroom at Walmart. It HAD to be Rory's phone. We decided to hold on to it and let Rory sweat for a little. We come out of the Walmart and when Rory walks up to the trucks, I ask him if he has everything. He says yea, he's ready to go. As we're driving, I'm following Rory and at every red light he throws it in park and I see him digging through his stuff. At one red light he even gets out to look at his bumper. He gets back in and says over the CB he was just checking to see if his phone was on the bumper. Now this is getting really funny. So long story short, It wasn't until that night that Rory said anything about loosing his phone and having to get a new one. I gave him his phone back and we laughed about it. Then I find out that Rory wasn't worried because he loses his phone all the time.
