It's ok, Frankenstein scared the bear away before it did any more damage.

Or was it big foot... big foot or a bear, one of them - I forget.

These videos are taking forever to upload to my computer, been going for over an hour now, almost done. And than they need editing and uploading to photobucket. Pictures to come this evening.

Jeff, besides taking forever to get there I expect driving to TECORE would be cost prohibitive but you might be able to catch a flight and ride along with someone to enjoy the fun. I'm going to push to go to the next one. I should have the PTO saved up and hopefully be able to work out going.

Way for a mod to de-motivate a member willing to make a sacrifice of time and money to join us.

I felt like I was motivating him. Driving 5k miles ~100hrs and likely $1500 on fuel round trip to go wheeling isn't something most folks can do except for a vacation/bucket list type trip. It might be more reasonable to catch a flight for $500 and ride with someone and get to go and meet some of the folks on the other side of the country. I expect many of you guys that drove down and back spent >$250 in fuel alone.

I know guys that do trips like that every year or two. Had we not moved i woulda been out west w a bunch of people this summer. Some people are dedicated and do more than read about others adventures on the web.

Sometimes it's more then the money. People like driving and want to wheel their truck. And living in the city I can't even imagine the landscapes and views on a ride like that. I also knew a guy with 35s on a yota that drove 18 hours to wheel so it's all about dedication

You have a crush on Navigator, don't you?

Admit it. :finger:

I was thinking about crashing this TECORE without telling anyone, just showing up at the meeting spot. But the wife was due to pop yesterday, so no go.

Yea...she would understand.

OR she would think that he's a selfish asshole...then would serve him with divorce and child support papers.

Either way it would've been Fish's last TECORE ever
