That's exactly why I got all my camping stuff, tools, and went shopping this previous weekend. I have no free time until the trip.

Ok so our sitter backed out on us and my wife does not want us to bring our 5 year old daughter for her first time camping to this so that means the both of them can't go and after all the crapi got last time for not bringing her I'm not hearing it again , so she wants to take her jeep out wheeling ,so we will be going up on sat to the bouncing (.Y.) run so she can take her jeep also and so we can meet some local wheelers.

Sorry I really wanted to go with you guys but I got to keep her happy and I have left her home the last 2 times I went wheeling , but I will be at the next one for sure :(

I removed myself

Ok you just need a rim. Well I found a 2500 spare rim for 19 dollars at the junk yard that worked out well.

I brought the truck in to get what I thought was a simple oil leak fixed...and it turned out to be the crankshaft seal leak, not what I originally thought.

Oil levels aren't dropping severely, but the question is - will going on TECORE make this worse, or allow it to stay the same? The guy at the shop said it isn't going to get worse...but I didn't let him know about TECORE.

So it's a rear (or front?) main seal? It's fine. My S-10 had a rear main leak (Not uncommon on most vehicles, Jeep 4.0 in particular) for 10 years and never used more than a quart in 4000 miles (burning + leaking). My Dad always says that a rear main isn't worth fixing until you're leaking a quart in 500 miles.

This would be the front end, Mike.

Is it the front seal or the rear seal and how bad is it leaking?
I expect it could get gradually worse over time but if it isn't leaking bad I don't think it matter much.
What oil do you use? I've read that some of the "high mileage" oils have additives that help seals for vehicles with a lot of miles.
