OK! So heres the deal. As some of you may know, I hate this state (offroading-wise).
I've decided as of 10 minutes ago that the weekend after next my dog and I will headed up to somewhere thats fun. I've never wheeled in anywhere but CA and FL, so I'm going to be relying on some of you GA boys to give me tips. I read through Cody_S's trip here http://forums.offroadtb.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=3316 The video of Sheep Wallow Rd at the end of that thread really interested me. So Cody, if you're up to it, we could hit that trail together. Or if you know of some better trails, I've got open ears. That goes for anyone reading this. Anyone is invited, dont care about what you're driving. As long as we got mature, treadlightly adults. No children, preferably

I'm looking for something that'll take me out miles from civilization, with no ammenities, buildings, other vehicles or pavement. If there's a cost to enter, I don't want it. Prefer a tour of a national forest or something.

I'm getting excited already :drive: :flex dirty:

We might be game, we're over Florida, but driving a zillion millions away to the fun spots is kind of tough with a real life. Weekend getaways in near by states are ideal, so we're down. Have to ask the wife.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

I could've, you're right. Except that whole work thing. I'll organize my own mini TECORE! Minus all the strict rules that JD puts in place, and minus the frequent and lengthy stops for photo shoots :poke: I'd just have to think of a different name for the trip. Like "Florida Sucks 2013" or "The Florida Rebellion"

Luckily the mosquitos don't get bad for another month or 2...
I like the last one, best.
I'd invite you to come, but I'd hate for you to think less of the SE than you already do...

Hmmm, that makes me think. I am going to start working on my mini helicopter skills and may have to give it a shot with the go pro mounted under it next year.

Ok, so as some of you may know... I'm known for my well planned out, and properly equipped offroad adventures :?

But I'm thinking that I'll start on Sheep Wallow in Lumpkin, GA, and then since thats only about 4-5 miles long (from what I can tell) I'll just continue on down random forest roads and trails. At least this time I'll be hoping to have some fellow members in tow, if not, Oh well. I'll drink alone.

Add/Edit as you decide. (I love stealing JD's ideas)

Maybe another time Bacon. It sounds interesting though.

Sometimes the best way to find good trails is to just dive in.
