Dave and a couple of local friends we met earlier last month decided to meet up so we could wheel and look into a new spot known as "The Wall."

We decided to meet in Jackson at what I dubbed "The Circuit." We had a couple of hours to ourselves due to logistical issues everyone got a chance to drive too - even Dave's girlfriend who never drove offroad before. We ended up getting bored and decided to look for new trails; accidentally ran into Gordinho80 and got to see his new tyre setup in action. It was nice to wheel with another Trailblazer! Photos of the time at Jackson Below...The Wall will be at the bottom. I'll apologize about the lack of pictures in advance...it was a weird day.

Okay..."The Wall:"
The Wall was so much further South than originally let on by our friends. You head down 195...almost to the edge of the county. This place is massive...the pictures do not do it justice. Its tricky getting in..and out..and some places are rather treacherous as the entire area is succumbing to man's "building up" and mother nature. There are plenty of hills, trails, and places to drive. There are two...technically three sections. Radio Communication is a must due to the size, quads, and weirdly tall hills to climb. The large landscape pictures that you see are all "drivable" areas:

I hope I covered this all.

I gotta say...the funniest thing was running into Mario. It was total chance that we ran into him...and the circumstances after it were just too funny. It was nice to finally wheel with someone from the ORTB community (No offence to Dave or Cory or anyone else who may be reading this...haha)

The wall has some pretty technical terrain from erosion. Wash outs deeper than the truck is tall. Very steep hill climbs. Mud, hard and loose sand, clay, gravel, and quicksand like ground. Some of the steeper hills push 60+ degrees. I was impressed with the M/T's and how well they preformed. They found a lot of traction on loose ground.

Roadie - That is a very evil thing that has a very large price on its head. I just need to find the time to hire a skilled hitman to take it out. :p

Next time you head over, let me know! Was funny running into you like that... After seeing your truck covered in dirt, I had to get mine dirty, try out the grabbers.

Shouldn't be that bad a drive for you, James. You should come up for the day. We'll BBQ and all!

Yeah I'm sorry - I figured that you would be busy without super planning, plus it was random/spurious and unplanned to begin with xD

Mario and everyone else that might be interested. Sat night April 7th me and a bunch of my friends are having a fire and wheelin from Lacey to Wharton apparently there are all sorts of trails leading into Wharton. We usually do this every weekend search around for trails. Vehicles range from Jeeps, Yotas, and a samari, and a sick ford f250 turbo diesel on 37's sadly enough but proudly im the only Trailblazer everyone loves my truck amd i have pulled a lot of them out lol its a great feeling and It's a great time. We usually start around 8-9 ish and it can last til 3 am. Hit me up if ya wanna go.

I'd love to meet up with everyone. I should get a mass email up together on Gmail with the coords and try to go into better detail about what this place is - I wouldn't want to get anyone's hopes up..

...it'd be a great part of a trip thou - starting in Jackson, and ending down at the Wall. Haha.

Honestly I have never actually been in there because I have heard the "WallBoys" (5 0) have lurked around in there on quads I haw driven by it a bunch. The lake that is in there has a lot of cars in it some burned up some accidental some you don't want to know about. I'm down just let me know when.

Wait, is this location illegal to off-road in? If so, please take this discussion off of this site.
