Going on a run with JK-Forum guys and girls. Planning to be there when it opens and usually run all day. Moderate trails. There are a good amount of bypasses, but this is a trip with some newbies...seem to be built well, but no real offroad experience. May be a good time to tag-a-long if you want to learn or play. I think a dozen rigs planning to attend at this point. I would advise armor for the radiator at least. I did it without, but Mike can attest that it was not so nice to my cooler even with a steel tube protecting it. bring a lunch and we usually eat back in the parking area. There is camping onsite and my buddy may have his RV there Friday night.

I will try and get a bunch of pics. I know there will be some serious obstacles tried by a coupe people with new stuff done to their Jeeps. Even though it is out of my league, it is cool to see and learn. Should be 3 or more winches along for the day just in case.

Ya. i was talking myself in and out of it, but the wife said she would go and one of the guys I grew up with is making the trip with his new lift and 35s on his JK and since it is his first real wheeling I want to be along.

Dec 4th is also the toys for tots i think, and last year we did right after the 1st. I am off until the 4th this year so may do it again.

Will try and pre-plan better for those runs.

Tight squeeze. Little weight added by buddies on bumper and made it through with a little scratching on the roof...

My buddy gave it a valiant effort but snapped a shaft in his 4 on this climb. Guess I get to help tear apart his rearend this week...

Hoping to set up something for us soon. I was pretty good on remembering trails so I feel alot more comfy on organizing. I led some Sat and did not have to turn around anywhere.

Looks like it was a fun day, wish I could have been there! Hopefully I can make the next trip.
