I am about to put this museum piece on my TB, and couldn't be more excited. My welding buddy, who used to weld on nuke subs, said "that is one fine bumper."
Clearly I am going to need to rad skid to protect the radiator.
What I am unsure of is the necessity of some sort of wheel wells to keep water, dirt, debris etc. away from the mechanicals, as the fender liners go away with the bumper.
What are the thoughts/solutions regarding this??

fender liners don't necessarily go away. Bumpers are only sold as a diy kit now.

I ran without fender liners for years without issue. Just remember to power wash in there after your trips.

Just cut the front part of your fender liners where they hang down. It's like the last foot off the front of the fender liner.
