Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Long tube headers

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

by 05ext » Mon Jul 22, 2019 8:29 pm

I have a 2005 EXT with the L33 5.3L gen IV with DOD. We plan on doing a DOD delete with TSP cam and I want to add a set of long tubes while I have it apart since the engine bay is so tight and I’ll have more room while the heads are off. But I’m not sure what to use. I’ve seen some say that standard Silverado and Tahoe headers will work but some say they don’t. Does anyone have any first hand experience with this?

Thanks,
