Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

What did you do to your GMT today?

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

Minor mod, but had wanted to get it done for a very long time... Picked up my grill this morning from my body shop, they had just enough of my color on hand to take care of the bowtie :thumleft:

Hey what's the recommendations on sway bar end links? Mine are clunking when I hit dips, I'm just not sure if I should stick with stock replacements or get something beefier? (I only do light off-roading)

I need to get some new pics, but it's been raining this weekend. I got the new hood, grill, and headlight panel installed. The only real damage left to fix is where I rolled the front of my door when I tried to open it after hitting the deer, not sure that's within my limited scope of body repair abilities.

I believe a lot of people use the Suspension Maxx links. Alternatively, I offer quick-disconnect links and non quick-disconnect links. Both versions of mine are heavy duty, easily greaseable, and rebuildable.

My current prices are...
Quick disconnects: $135 shipped US
Non-quick disconnect: $85 shipped US

Got my TB out of the transmission shop today at a tune of $3080. That took a bite out of my emergency fund but that's what it's for, the unexpected BS :viking: .

I swapped out my shocks for HD's (something I should have done when I installed the BDS lift)

The look is starting to grow on me, I'm going to stop on the way home from work tonight and grab an eraser wheel and get the rest of the adhesive off.

Mad use of some Led pod lights I had. Super easy to install. I need to find a way to brace them better as they are mounted directly to the factory fog light locations and it's only plastic.

I'm unsure what his name is on here but I know on Instagram a guy named mike junior fabs and sells brackets for that. Here is the link to his eBay page http://www.ebay.com/usr/mikejunior2

Got the eraser wheel and got the residue from the pinstripe off but where the side moldings came off it is dirt like in the paint so I've been told to try goo gone and hot water and/or 3M rubbing compound so I guess that's the next step to this project.

I've actually had pretty good luck with goo gone in the past, slums like you've been pointed in the right direction.

I found that bug and tar remover worked really well when I took off my moldings. I tried goo gone, but the tar stuff worked better if i let it sit for a bit then scrubbed. It also was the trick to removing the plastidip from hood

Hmmm any particular brand? And did it almost seem like the dirt had set into the paint?

I think Rain-X back then, but Turtle Wax works good for its intended use so i think it would work as well. It was in there pretty good. I think I tried using the polishing ball thing you put in a drill as well, but it was mostly just let it soak and use some arm strength to scrub.

Nope, I was my vehicles religiously because I believe that you only get back the worth of a vehicle if you take care of it, yet I have never heard of this miracle worker bug remover for vehicles lol. I mean I have always been able to get 95 percent of bugs off the front of my car just by hand washing, so unless it was super cheap I wouldn't use it anyway

I dont wash vehicles typically more than a couple times a year, but the stuff is in all the little kits n such people buy or give as gifts. Sits right in the walmart or any auto stores display of washing/waxing/cleaning stuff. I use it for tree sap basically. Sucks parking under a tree.
