Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

I see in a lot if your guys' pictures that you simply cut the tail pipe off at the last bracket and never weld up a new tailpipe section. That passes inspection? i thought the exhaust pipe had to clear the cab.

The cabin is pretty well sealed up against fumes getting in from that corner of the vehicle, but I welded in a pipe anyway. Inspection regs seem to vary widely around the country.

I guess that would depend on where you are at. I just haven't decided what I wanted to weld up there.

Yeah it just depends on what state your in and the laws that pertain to it. Here in Wyoming we dont have inspections to pass or fail so you can do whatever you want really.

It sure is nice. I came from a very strict state (Ca) so suddenly having all this freedom is great.

Just don't go telling everyone back in CA or we'll end up with them all here and the same laws...

No inspection in Indiana either. That's all I did was cut at the final hanger. It's been that way for a couple of years now with no issues.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
