Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

What did you do to your GMT today?

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

While dropping the skids we discovered this:

Guess we didn't lose all that dirt and mud we acquired at TECORE.

That's left overs from TECORE.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

Cold front came through yesterday morning and instead of the usual 100+ degrees it was only 85, so I took advantage and replaced my motor mounts. What a difference that made!!! Sitting at a traffic light I had to look at the tachometer to see if the engine was still running. They were not blown out, but they were both 3/4" shorter than the new ones.

Noticed some grease splatter around the inner tripot boot, gonna put a 4" hose clamp on it and hope for the best...

I had dirt on my rims from October til April from tecore. I can guarantee there is still dirt on my frame n skids from then. VA dirt makes them run better!

We still find dust/dirt from Utah come out of places on the truck. It's hard to miss that red dirt.

B&M trans cooler, so far dropped my trans temps about 30 degrees. Never would had thought it necessary until I had the ability to monitor the temps, knowledge is always good but can get expensive.

What was it peaking and averaging at before you installed it? Just curious.

85 degrees and front and rear ac on it was peaking around 220+ without a load. After install today in the same circumstances I saw a peak of 190. Still have more to do, the water temp peaked at 215 while driving today (checked on the android "torque" app). Tstat is on order so that and the coolant flush will be next weekend. I have the tranny filter waiting for a night I can get off work on time. If I get the fluids, filters, tstat freshened up I think Ill be able to get all temps averaging below 200 degrees.

Took a 2 foot piece of retread, from a semi, to the grill today. Me, and two cars, in front of me in the hammer lane. About three car lengths between each of us. Noticed the first car swerve a little. Then the second car, a Jeep lib///y no less, spit it out at me! My grill and bug guard need a repaint, and the cross bar on the grill has a small crack.
I DON'T care what my GMT360 was designed to do, I care about what it can do!

Finished up running the wiring for the license plate relocation since I finally got my spare set up on a hitch mount. That will end up getting a hinge built in like everyone has in the near future. Also got my camera mount for the dash.
