Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

What did you do to your GMT today?

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

by Trail X » Sun Apr 07, 2013 8:37 pm

Rotated the tires and in the process found out my upper ball joints were so loose that they were about to pop out of their sockets. They didn't ever feel loose, which is odd. But when there was no weight on the wheels, they moved around a ton. I'll have to post the video I took on youtube. Glad I spotted that before TECORE!

You'll fit in real nicely here with that other sticker.

Decided to take a joy ride in the nice weather today, I love the way this thing rides with the lifted suspension. :excited:

Then I look down and see that damn air bag light on with "service air bag" on the DIC display. Can't win

Transfer case oil... Only 25,000 past due. Hand some binding when turning on a dirt and stone parking area. ALL fixed now.

Added some custom "pinstripes" getting back to my favorite fishing spot.
People have been using the trail as a mud pit and destroyed it, just a matter of time til another great spot is closed to the public

Ya'll don't have any front recovery points. You probably wont need them but if you ever felt the need before you get a bumper, You can flip your current bumper upside down, run the bolts up through the bottom, and use the tow hooks on top as the nuts for the bumper bolts.

Yup, I could if I hadn't of made the mistake of throwing away the tow hooks last June when they wouldn't fit with the radiator skid.

I was going to attempt to come up with something, but, avoidance has been a good strategy so far... knock on wood.

I won't be going back out west without a bumper and winch though, that's for sure.
