Think I'll pull the tire tonight and take a closer look for anything not sitting right.

Make sure the control arm didn't slide. The three bolts that hold that together at the frame are supposed to be 170 ft-lbs or something inordinate, IIRC.

the front bracket bolt is 195 ft lbs
the rear bracket bolt is 177 ft lbs

Wouldn't those three bolts have been tightened down by the shop when they did the alignment? And wow... those bolts weren't anywhere near that tight when I took everything apart. However I haven't been able to cause it to make any more noises, and it's still driving ok.

The shop should have.

Those torque specs are not that crazy imo.

When I was pulling things apart for the front diff, some of the bolts were so tight that I had to brace my legs against the truck to pull them loose. However it could be simply that it's only been a couple years since the last alignment and these bolts weren't stuck. I think my breaker-bar is over 12" long, and I just cranked those three bolts down as hard as I could, with the assumption that they were going to be re-torqued anyway during the new alignment.

The only other thing I could think of that might have moved was the bottom of the shock tower. Ah well, probably best just to pull both wheels this weekend and re-check everything after driving it for a week.

Got it very dusty while dodging loaded logging trucks on about 80km (50mi) of FSRs (forest service roads) today. I'll write it up with pics in the trails forum a bit later.

Slammed in some poly bushings in the upper control arms today.

Still have to install the 81114 springs, lower control arm bushings, strut lower mount bushings and new exhaust manifold. Thats next Friday.
